Equinox Minus One - #SkywatchFriday

Today, in the Northern Hemisphere, it is the first day of fall.

Last night, I took pictures of the sunset from near Johnson City, New York.
The last sunset of summer.

Alas.  Goodbye, summer.

Visit bloggers from all over the world on #SkywatchFriday, to see what the sky looks like from other places, all over the world.

  2. Yesterday I awoke to a beautiful red sky thinking we might get rain. NOT. Temps in the 90's today. This is ridiculous.

  3. As much as I love these beautiful pictures as we begin Fall, I'm a summer girl at heart so they are bitter/sweet.

  5. We've already had a brush with Mr. Winter. Alas, summer faded long ago. Sigh.

  6. Goodbye summer and welcome fall. I'm getting a spaghetti squash ready to cook. I found out that spaghetti squash seeds can be toasted like pumpkin seeds. Autumn means wonderful winter squashes!
