Lily of Valley #WordlessWednesday

The other day, my spouse and I were visiting my mother in law.

She told her son and me that she loved the scent of lily of the valley.

Yesterday, my spouse cut some of ours, put them in a small vase, and brought them to her.  She was so happy, bringing them to her nose and inhaling.

  1. I love lily of the valley too, but they eventually became a nuisance in the garden and I have trying to get rid of them for years now. So nice of your husband to do that for Mom.

  3. Oh, that is so sweet of your spouse, Alana! I think it is these little acts of love and kindness that make the elderly happy. I imagine this must have made your mom-in-law really happy. Thanks for joining us for #WordlessWEdnesday, this week, Alana and sharing these pictures.
P.S. Btw, Lily of the valley is my favourite essence too!!! :)

  7. That's lovely. I think my mom brought some from NC to my aunt on our last visit to my aunt and uncle's place in Texas, before my uncle passed away and my aunt moved north to be closer to my cousins. We all took turns enjoying the scent. Just a tiny bouquet!

  8. That was very nice of you. Is there some way to pot some so she can have a small plant near her? Or does it only bloom sporadically.
