Canandaigua Sunset in July - #SkywatchFriday #BlogBoost

Today is Friday, which means....

....a sunset on Canandaigua Lake, one of the Finger Lakes of upstate New York.

As the sun sets, baby ducks take advantage of the last light of the day.

The sun dips lower.

And then the sun is gone, leaving only its reflection behind.

    That's why I love nature and being in the country so much. I lived in the middle of nowhere Texas Hill Country for the best and the worst 10 years of my life. But a couple of years ago I knew it was in my best interest to move back to the city. No regrets. Just gratitude I was able to lead that life.
