First Day of Fall 2021 #WordlessWednesday

It's official, or will be at 3:20 pm Eastern Daylight Time today.

It's that most wonderful time of the year (with apologies to Christmas).

Time for mums and gourds.

It's time for apples.

Dried flower arrangements and the last of summer flowers.
Gorgeous heads of broccoli and (not pictured) cauliflower.

Yes.

It's fall.

Joining Sandee at Comedy Plus for #WordlessWednesday.

  1. We are thrilled to have fall as we are not fans of summer at all. The heat is no fun.

  4. Alana,

The broccoli really does look gorgeous. What's sold in stores don't look quite that good. I love broccoli, too!! Nice views of autumn harvest. I can't believe it's the first day of fall, can you?

  7. Autumn is so beautiful in colors and products. This year I made for the first time jam from figs and it was fun...

  11. I saw a Twitter post today. "It's the first day of fall in California, and you know what that means... Nothing. It's still 97 degrees out." True story, although where I was only got up to 93.

  12. It's a good thing that we do not have to wait for those things to appear here, as we have none of them to define our fall. I do love seeing your icons of the season.

  13. My favourite season! Partially because it's so fleeting here. :(
    Love the colours, Alana!
