Last Views of Fall #WordlessWednesday

I know, fall extends to the third week of December, but our long, extended warm wave (with some cold inbetween) is ending.

A tree, either October 31 or November 1.

We had our first frost November 5.

In the afternoon, we went out and saw one of the colorful trees.  Overall, our fall foliage was below average, but still beautiful.

These are blackberry lily seed clusters from my flower bed, also taken November 5.  Don't they look like blackberries?

  4. I'm glad you shared blackberry lily berries. I've only seen pictures of their fabulous flowers. I tried growing them, but I think the seeds were too old. I read they need to be fresh.
