Heart Shaped Box #WordlessWednesday

On New Year's Day we took a walk on the Vestal Rail Trail.

Like so much of the United States, we had been having an unseasonable fall and winter.  Our area can get upwards of 120 inches (305 cm) of snow a year.  Right now, we are way behind.

Not that I'm complaining.

But what we have been getting on and off is rain.  On the trail, the puddles in indentations were filled up on January 1.  The town isn't in a hurry to fix the indentations in the trail, but at least they circle them with a painted line to warn you.

Did the person who outlined this puddle notice the heart shape, and drew a box around it to pay homage to a song from the 1990's?
