August Sky Drama #SkywatchFriday

It's September 2, and we are getting ready for fall. Blue skies are nice, but fall, at some point, will usher in the dreary skies of the next few months.

But sometimes, even August brings dreary clouds.

Would this bring us rain?  On August 22, it did.

I was able to get a puddle photo.

Another angle of the sky.

The next day, the clouds were still there, down by the river.

But a couple of days later, blue skies had returned.  For my final picture of this Skywatch, I was trying to take a picture of a new mural in my area from the car, but got more sky than mural.

And now that it's September, what skies will this month bring?

  3. Our fall skies are often stunningly blue. We get off and on dreary all year, but October (with some exception) is nice. Thanks for the sky pics as always.

  9. We had some pretty days toward at the end of August. But the cloudy days were appreciated especially while outdoors doing yard work which kept the heat at bay. Today, it's wet morning and is expected to be so all day. I'm glad we didn't have plans to work outside. :) Nice captures!
