Bee Peek a Boo #WordlessWednesday

Yesterday, I caught sight of a bee hiding in a rhododendron flower.

 Can you see her?

Peek-a-boo, I see you!

Now she's more out in the open.

I have two rhododendron bushes.  Years ago, there were bees all over it.  For the past 10 years or so, the numbers have dwindled.  I was grateful to have seen these.

  2. Bee numbers are definitely lower than they used to be a few years ago - very sad.

  3. My butterfly bushes attract bees and the butterflies don't seem to mind sharing the space. Have a blessed week.

  4. I have been distressed by the low numbers of bees that I've seen in my backyard this year. I think they are in serious trouble and we need to do whatever we can to reverse the trend.

  8. Those are nice photos. I have lots of bees, it's the butterflies I'm sort of.

  9. We get a lot of bees here coming to drink from the bird bath. We get so many because there are beehives a couple of fields away from us.
