Yesterday, I caught sight of a bee hiding in a rhododendron flower.
Can you see her?
Peek-a-boo, I see you!
Now she's more out in the open.
I have two rhododendron bushes. Years ago, there were bees all over it. For the past 10 years or so, the numbers have dwindled. I was grateful to have seen these.

...always stop to smell the flowers, but watch out for the bees.
ReplyDeleteBee numbers are definitely lower than they used to be a few years ago - very sad.
ReplyDeleteMy butterfly bushes attract bees and the butterflies don't seem to mind sharing the space. Have a blessed week.
ReplyDeleteI have been distressed by the low numbers of bees that I've seen in my backyard this year. I think they are in serious trouble and we need to do whatever we can to reverse the trend.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pink flowers. I love seeing the bees. We need to protect the bees.

Those are nice photos. I have lots of bees, it's the butterflies I'm sort of.
ReplyDeleteWe get a lot of bees here coming to drink from the bird bath. We get so many because there are beehives a couple of fields away from us.
ReplyDeleteSad that the bees have dwindled. At least you were able to get pics of this one.
ReplyDeleteCute picture. The flowers are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty.
