Park Shadows on a January Afternoon #ShadowshotSunday

The sun came out for a while on Friday, and I took a walk in our local park.  I had to take a couple of pictures of the long shadows of January.

Let's compare them in color and black and white.


 Which do you like better?

I've decided I'm finally going to experiment a little with black and white, and see.

    For sunny skies I prefer color. The black and white is moody.

    The black and white one really makes the shadows stand out but I must say that I prefer the realism of true colors.

    I like the blue sky color. But it is neat to experiment with B & W.

    I like the blue of the sky, so I prefer the color to the b&w in this instance.

    I like both, however I think the shadows show up better in black and white.
