I worry, though, that the deer and woodchucks would enjoy them before I got to!

This heat sure is miserable, isn't it? I actually had to water my rock garden yesterday, which is something I very rarely do.
Kimberley at Cosmos and Cleomehttp://cosmosandcleome.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8199270158927284616.post-10333760847984603172013-07-16T08:33:33.830-04:002013-07-16T08:33:33.830-04:00What gorgeous flowers, Alana, and really lovely ph...What gorgeous flowers, Alana, and really lovely photos! She will love keeping track of your efforts. Down here in Houston, it is hot and steamy. It rained on and off all day which has been a blessing because we are in a drought. Being accustomed to almost daily rain all summer long, it doesn't take much of a drought to turn all of the pines brown and brittle. It was good to see the rain today! Down here in Houston its hot and steamy, but we are in a drought, so even tough it rained on and off all day, it will be a while yet before we recover. Since it rains so much in Houston, it doesn't take much of a drought to make everything turn brown. Great blog!
