That song is a classic (the melody is literally so). I used Nana Mouskouri's "Old Toy Trains" because she makes it sound like a lullaby. It's a great song and not one that I was familiar with. Great set here!John Holtonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00545030511941957804noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8199270158927284616.post-65724278729077817442019-11-25T11:15:21.895-05:002019-11-25T11:15:21.895-05:00That's quite an eclectic playlist! That's quite an eclectic playlist!songbird's crazy worldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11473854543986991104noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8199270158927284616.post-65851467810124661092019-11-25T09:57:43.441-05:002019-11-25T09:57:43.441-05:00I always loved the "Toys" commandeering ...I always loved the "Toys" commandeering of Bach. It actually was the theme song for Gorgeous George, the all-night host of Channel 5 all night in Boston. (He was my daily accompanyist while tooling away at the Cambridge institutions, along with his showing of East Side West Side (with George C. Scott), the Bowery Boys, Charley Chan, etc.)Cerebrations.bizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01273098928740152430noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8199270158927284616.post-60816047423383748202019-11-25T08:10:37.529-05:002019-11-25T08:10:37.529-05:00Alana,

It wasn't too long ago that they tickled my ears with "A Lover's Concerto" on Sirus radio. The song isn't new to me but until that time I wasn't aware of the artists identity and when I spotted their name I thought it was a neat name for a group. :) I can not believe I have not heard this Monkees' song, "All of Your Toys" before now. How did this one slip past me, I do not know. Great choices this morning. I hope you and yours have a joyful and blessed Thanksgiving. I'm grateful for your friendship, dear-heart! xxCathy Kennedyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01738079671642137018noreply@blogger.com
