I don't know how much of an accomplishment it was, but my orchid did bloom a second time. I am not quite sure I did anything to make it happen. Perhaps because of their delicate looking appearance, we don't realize the strength they actually possess. lyndagracehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13530605081989558341noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8199270158927284616.post-81483179049185637602013-01-24T09:04:41.773-05:002013-01-24T09:04:41.773-05:00Congratulations. This mornings temperature is 1.4 degrees and headed nowhere. I am hoping for a light snow season but when it's this cold in January, we usually get a couple of back to back heavy snow storms in February. Not looking forward to it. Keeping my mind centered on the planting season and the herbs I will see return.Chef Williamhttp://healthyfoodanddiet.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8199270158927284616.post-3620326022575273842013-01-24T05:59:45.003-05:002013-01-24T05:59:45.003-05:00Thank you for the compliment. Giving the right amount of light is important - I found I wasn't doing this. And - patience. Mine took nearly a year to rebloom.bookwormhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06589840841266507266noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8199270158927284616.post-16912272818906023762013-01-23T22:19:46.851-05:002013-01-23T22:19:46.851-05:00I love your blog. I have been nursing one that was in full bloom when I bought it. After it was done, I transplanted it and now it has 2 new leaves. Any tips on getting it to bloom besides watering and fertilizing?Leslie Jeansonnehttp://ezdiydecorating.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8199270158927284616.post-43582765700083232932013-01-23T21:55:56.878-05:002013-01-23T21:55:56.878-05:00Thank you for the compliment, Cindy. And the palm trees were so nice, too.bookwormhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06589840841266507266noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8199270158927284616.post-57348905501524157832013-01-23T20:37:48.273-05:002013-01-23T20:37:48.273-05:00That is a beautiful orchid.
