I've also read that Binghamton averages 40 days of 80 plus degree weather (about 26.6 degrees plus, for my non U.S. blog readers) and that the average first date of 80 degree weather is May 5.
We still haven't gotten to 80, although, yesterday, we came close. Maybe today will be the day. We last hit 80 degrees here on September 11, 2013. It's been such a long time. Such a long, cold, time.
Today, the forecast is 79 degrees.
So let's celebrate with clouds of white.
Near NYSEG Stadium, Binghamton, 5-7-14 |
At the middle school where the late Rod Serling of Twilight Zone fame attended in Binghamton, the white trees lining the athletic field are out.
Bookish Bradfords at the Broome County public library garden.
It just isn't the Bradfords that are out. I love these double flowers.
How about these all white daffodils?
Soon enough, the white will disappear, to be replaced by green. So let's enjoy the clouds of white while we can.
What is your favorite flower color?
Upstate New York is so pretty! Lovely pics!
