Foliage is clean, fresh, coming out in many shades of green. Spring exploded this month in the northeast. There are so many colors to choose from.

Today, I decided to pick a color to represent this week of spring. With viburnums and spireas in full bloom, I decided on white.

This spring has passed so quickly. There are flowers I barely saw before they were gone. Yesterday, a cold front cooled us down. I hope spring will slow down briefly, so I can enjoy these blooms for a few days.

I love white flowers, and your pictures captivated the soft beauty of the blossoms and flowers perfectly. I also love to look at white roses, and white iris as well as lilies (of course). White reminds me of my lost loved-ones, and speaks about the purity they MIGHT have achieved if they went to Heaven. Here in England, Spring has given us April showers in May. In April, we had warm sunny weather. Crazy. The giant trees opposite us, horse chestnuts, are decked out in candle shaped cones of white flowers and blossom petals are drifting down like snow.
