Skywatch Friday - A February Sunrise

Here are some pictures of the sunrise on February 23, as I left for work.  We are in, as is much of the United States, an unseasonable warm spell.

The first picture, obviously, was taken facing the east.

A couple of blocks away, the sunrise progresses.

Right after the second picture, I faced the west.  Part of the joy of the sunrise is seeing the color changes in the opposite direction.

And, just a couple of minutes later, the colors shift.

      If someone is too warm, someone is too cool. I suppose, if everyone was too hot, I would really be scared.

    Beautiful shots, Alana. The patch of clouds seem so welcome sitting here with temperatures hovering around 36 degrees. Too hot for my liking.

      If we were 36 here (98 in our temperature system), everyone would be complaining.

    So beautiful clicks, Alana. I love watching the mesmerizing sky and capturing picture after picture. But the truth is my clicks don't justify the beauty of sky a least bit.

    I love watching the sunset or rise. It happens so fast. It is a beautiful thing to witness.

    I couldn't even see the sky this morning. Our fog here has been pretty bad this year. Rain today and maybe some storms this evening.

    Alana, lovely SWF photos! It got really warm in the Tennessee Valley (77º) today but tomorrow it's forecast to be 25 degrees cooler during the day and drop below 30 tomorrow night. I'm not looking forward to that! Mother Nature's must be going through menopause! :) Thanks for dropping by earlier!
