The trees aren't waiting any longer in upstate New York.
Let the weather stay summerlike. They need to go into hibernation.
In the past couple of days, fall color has finally arrived.
The days continue to shorten. In a few days, the leaves will be gone, but for now, we walk in a wonderland of red and yellow.
Enjoy it while you can, Nature says. And I intend to.
Day 25 of the Ultimate Blog Challenge
We should get a frost tonight and that will be the last of the color. Maybe snow showers next week?
ReplyDeleteMy backyard decided to join in the fun just yesterday. Woo Hoo! That's a good thing since leaf vacuuming is in 10 days!
ReplyDeleteLove seeing your FALL...still waiting on Fall in Texas. Maybe in November. Happy Fall Ya'll.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous colours! Sooo envious!
ReplyDeleteMany of our trees turn yellow, but only a couple here actually turn red. I've never lived anywhere that has a display like yours. But you folks have to shovel snow in winter, and we don't. So there is some compensation for our color deprivation.
ReplyDeleteSaw a leeetle teeny bit of color paddling out of Canarsie last weeking. Hoping for more on Saturday!
ReplyDeleteIt is gorgeous. I am happy to be able to enjoy this lovely display. I'm not a big fan of winter but this is a great consolation before the freeze starts. Your photographs are beautiful! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteAlana, thanks for the lovely scenes. Happy Fall! And please keep posting photos.
