Mid-November, where I live in upstate New York, is a time when skies tend to be dark and gloomy.
But sometimes, the sun sometimes manages to peak out. Yesterday, it did just that, soon after sunrise.
Minutes later, the sky colored up.
Meanwhile, the day before, birds gathered on a wire, against one of our more typical gloomy skies.

Our day yesterday started out with a wonderful, blue sky. To become mostly cloudy at night. Oh, good- it's almost a new moon, so not much was missed.
ReplyDeleteWonderful images of the sky. I love to watch morning sky.
ReplyDeleteCool captures!
ReplyDeletePretty shots.
ReplyDeleteNovember gloom? It needs a better name than that. (We get June gloom and now May gray. But I can't think of something that rhymes with November. Perhaps your weather forecasters have?)
ReplyDeleteEven when the sky is dark, you can find some beautiful colors there. Guess that's the silver lining.
ReplyDeleteAh! Pretty much like our skies here in Bangalore in Southern India. Its been exactly like this since the past few days, you know! The last one is lovely too, despite the gloomy skies.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty skies! Funny how the birds all line up in the same area. Safety in numbers?
