Sap Rising - #SkywatchFriday

Before the recent storms in the Southern Tier of New York.

February 27, sap rises in three Bradford Pear trees.  The sky was so blue, and you can barely see, just to the right of the middle tree, a white dot - the moon.  It's a bit hard to see, but there is a glow towards the top of the threes - the sap rising.
After the storm some called Riley (which hit on Friday) - these pictures were taken by my guest photographer on Sunday.  She lives out in the rural part of the county I live and work in.
 She got about 24 inches of snow where she lives.  This, incidentally, is a road.
And a neighbor's property.

I wonder how our maple sugaring season is doing here with our strange weather.

    Same here Alana we here is Dublin also struggling with the same kind of bad weather conditions, it is really hard..anyways lovely clicks!
