Monday, I finally saw a sunrise.
Dawn reddened the horizon as I walked east.
Several minutes later.
Meanwhile, in the west...
The sun started to peek over the horizon. Time to start the week.
And then the rains returned.

Nice shots. Up the the sun ...
ReplyDeleteAlana,
ReplyDeleteI usually don't get a chance to see the sunrise unless DH shoots me a text saying 'pretty sky'. That's my cue to check it out. How nice that you can walk to work or at least part of the way. I guess you use the public transit system a lot, don't ya? Beautiful colors to start the week off with! We've had plenty of sunshine this week and much to much too warm! Change is coming and I'm trying to not complain because it'll be super cool soon enough. :) Happy SWF, my friend! I'll see you on the dance floor Monday!
Very pretty skies!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day!
Glorious cloud formations and lovely colors
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely way to welcome the day.Gorgeous shots.#Blogboosf
ReplyDeleteLovely skies.
ReplyDeleteI love the rises and sets. When I commuted from Charlottesville to DC on the Southern Crescent, they were more than welcome companions.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are lovely!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful images! Would it be possible to get a panoramic shot? Or, if you are up to it, maybe a video as you turn around?
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
If I can see the sunrise, I know I'm up too damn early ;)
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful - thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!
ReplyDeleteWe've had sunshine for four days in a row! There's simply nothing more beautiful than a perfect sunrise/set.
I love watching the sky while the sun sets. It's magic everytime!
ReplyDeleteAmazing how quickly the red disappears as the sun rises! Beautiful photos.
ReplyDeleteSo fun! You belong to so many blog groups! Thanks for sharing the sunrise with us today, Alana!
