On Tuesday, at sunrise, the sky was moody.
Near sunrise, the clouds had gathered overnight.
We have many cloudy days at this time of year, where I live in upstate New York. But, as the sun rose, the color started to appear.
Then, the clouds disappeared. We had a rare sunny day.
Near the Broome County Courthouse, the trees glowed.
Trees in various parts of their colorful display.
But, the next day, the clouds were back.

Lovely moody skies and great autumn colours.
ReplyDeleteWe've been subjected to clear, blue skies this whole week. Ending tonight with a torrential rain. (Which is when I think our trees will become nude...)
ReplyDeleteHow nice to see a bit of blue sky at this time of year!
ReplyDeleteI would have to say that my favourite word in the English language is 'clear'. Clear water. Clear air. Clear eyes. Clear thoughts. And best of all, clear skies! I love those pictures of that blue, blue sky! You need clouds to make a truly spectacular sunrise or sunset, but clear skies do it all for me!
ReplyDeleteHow unusual, completely different skies in such a short span. All beautiful to look at though.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!! We get autumn in one afternoon here in the desert so I love these pictures!!
ReplyDeletePretty trees. Have they started turning yet?
ReplyDeleteThat is some beautiful fall color that you have along with some beautiful blue skies.
ReplyDeleteWow, when you get blue sky days, they are really a beautiful blue!! Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Autumn foliage!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend!
Thanks for sharing your photos. Now that I live in the city, I don't have a big sky view. I miss that.
