I had a lot of choices for Thursday Tree Love today. I am choosing a memory from this June, when we visited various gardens on a garden tour in Maine, New York.
This tree fascinated me.
Another view (a portrait of the tree is leaning up against it!)
And a close up.
I have no idea what type of tree it is, but I don't think I've ever met a tree with its own portrait.

ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely one. I see how the trunk has given space to maybe squirrels and birds. Thank you for joining, Alana! Always a pleasure to have you around and show us nature from your side of the world.
