Getting lots of chances to see snow on trees doesn't diminish my enjoyment.
The time of day brings contrasts, too. Watch.......
In the morning, the trees and sky look silvery grey.
After sunset but before dark, everything is tinted in blue.
And the trees themselves, having shed their leaves and entered their winter hibernation...do they know what is going on around them? What do they dream as they sleep?
Do they dream of spring, as I do?

The last storm we had a few weeks ago, the sky and trees were like a postcard and I wish I had my camera with me. Since Hornell is in between Lake Erie and Ontario we do get a lot of snow and the weather changes on a dime. We are not that far from one another, like 2 hours. I like winter as long as I don't have to drive in it, unfort. I have too, sigh.

Hi Alana - love the photos ... and snow always brings that 'high-tone' colour to the landscape ... yes I wonder what they do ... they certainly communicate - and if I and many others, like you, could communicate and ask Spring to roll around as soon as possible, we would ... from a murky Eastbourne!
