Rabbit Rabbit Skies #SkywatchFriday

It's May Day but you wouldn't know it, here in upstate New York.  The dreary spring festival continues.

Here and there, we had some actual spring skies.  No grand sunrises or sunsets here - just...spring.

Schools stand empty, this unusual spring season, but a beautiful school lawn attracts my eye.

Flowering trees reach for the sky.

Little sky here, but the tree makes up for it.
A stand of Bradford Pears where an old factory used to stand.

And because some will say "Rabbit Rabbit Rabbit" on the first day of the month, look what I saw yesterday.  As a bonus, Nature threw in a robin on the upper right.

Thank you, Yogi at #SkywatchFriday, for the chance to enjoy the first day of May with other watchers of the sky.

May May be brighter and healthier for us all.

Rabbit, Rabbit, Rabbit!

  1. Hi Alana - it's not easy ... but at least the days are longer and brighter. We've had a couple of weeks of lovely weather with a cold east wind, now it's still cold - but it's a westerly with some 'cold' showers ... but we need the rain. Wildlife is certainly enjoying itself ... and I can see the robin ... take care - and all the best Hilary

  2. Yep. They look like unsettled 'spring' skies to me! ;)
I'm loving your spring! Hoping for the same here, but in the meantime, thank you for sharing yours!

  3. Pretty shots. We live very close to an elementary school, and it seems so strange to have it closed. Not to mention having to home-school my granddaughter. Yikes!!

  4. Cooler temps keep one indoors when one must remain indoors, so that is one bright side. Happy May.
