Recently, a park in our area put in new walking trails. We've been making some use of the trails and also have been watching sunsets standing on a flood wall.
The park lies along the Susquehanna River, so we also get some view of the river.
Shift a few feet and the view changes, too. I love how the sunset was painting the water pink.
One more view of the river before we turn to the sky.
Now, how about some pictures of clouds taken in this same park?
These were all taken between July 7 and 9th.
Have you watched the sky lately? If not, why not? I love participating in Skywatch Friday, because I had ignored the sky for so many years. No more. Go to a place two days in a row and watch the sky, and you will have two different experiences.
Joining Yogi and the other sky watching bloggers once again for #SkywatchFriday.
...it pays to look up!
ReplyDeleteLovely pinks.
ReplyDeleteNice to have a trail nearby, especially one with a river view. We have a very long (18 miles long) trail along Bear Creek, and while it runs along parallel to the Interstate one one side and the town on the other, some parts of it just don't feel safe, it's very woodsy in areas, with so many homeless camping along it.
ReplyDeleteNice that you have a new walking trail to enjoy. Beautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteWe see beautiful winter sunsets from our bedroom window.
ReplyDeleteI love the bookend look of the colors up in the sky and reflected down on the water. What a serene place to walk.
ReplyDeleteThe ever changing palette of our lives.
ReplyDeleteYou got some great sky shots. I love the ones with color that reflects in the water and some shots of just flat spectacular skies.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the pink hues of the sky!
ReplyDeletePink effect river is pretty neet.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on
I see a face in the final shot! Cat maybe? Dog?
ReplyDeleteI love how it reflected on the water
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!
