Welcome! I hope I bring a spot of calm and happiness into these uncertain times. I blog about my photography adventures, flowers, gardening, the importance of chocolate in a well lived life, or anything else on my mind.

Fall Began in August #WordlessWednesday
August 28, in Binghamton, New York.
Taken August 28, 2022
I know we have a drought. But isn't it a little early for fall?
Please tell me it is too early. It's August 31 today, right?
Oh snap! Usually, we see mild changes in the leaves by this time and there is some. It just reminds us that fall is coming and that makes me excited. I love the cooler temps of the season but I don't like thinking about winter. That's too cool to suit me. :) I'm just a big baby. lol
A saw a lot of yellow leaves in the trees, due to the heat, I suppose. But this is the magic of nature when the autumn is coming. Beautiful image! Happy WW and a fine week!
Well, let's see... It's 95 F here today, and the principal of the school advised the students to wear short sleeves, bring water, and to try to stay cool. I'd say it's still summer. (But, we're dealing with hot temps into October, so when is fall, anyway?)

ReplyDeleteWe're in a heatwave again so no fall here. I would love some cooler temperatures though. Beautiful shot, but a bit early.

In the extreme heat I am noticing some trees are drying up and changing color...Fall isn't coming early- it's the heat!
ReplyDeleteFall starts tomorrow, the way I see it. It's not *that* early.
ReplyDeleteIt's been and looks the same here although our heatwaves have now finished it's much cooler now
ReplyDeleteHave an autumnaltastic week 👍
After two heatwaves the trees here have gone into survival mode. No changing colour but straight to brown and dropping their leaves.
ReplyDeleteWe’ve got a few trees like that too
