We wouldn't have been up this early the morning of September 1 except for a meeting that was scheduled in early morning, but, for whatever reason, the other person didn't show up. Now what?
Otsiningo Park was only a couple of miles away, so we decided to visit our community garden and take a walk afterwards.
The mist hung over the hills, contrasting with blue skies.
More mist and clouds.
I love the blue skies of early September.
On our walk in the main part of the park, along the Chenango River, you can barely see more mist rising from the river.
One more picture before we go. The mist is a little more visible here, on the right side of the picture.

Very pretty!
ReplyDeleteI like the second one best.
Have a blessed day!
...this is indeed a lovely time of year.
ReplyDeleteYou do have a lot of pretty waterways and walks around you. Sorry you got up and out early for no reason, but it turned out for a good reason after all.
ReplyDeleteAgreed, this time of year is so lovely
ReplyDeleteI love the skies of early September too, and all of the different shades of blue on display.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty skies, and nice job making the most of a missed meeting!
ReplyDeleteI'll miss a meeting for a walk in a nice area any time!!
ReplyDeleteIt was good you made lemonade instead of fretting over a missed meeting. Photographs are quite lovely.
ReplyDeleteSo cool! And I know I've mentioned this before, but I LOVE the names of places in your world!
ReplyDeleteVery blue sky with wonderful framing.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteI'm torn about the September mists. They are lovely and I do enjoy seeing them. But they mean winter is coming. Summer is over. Sigh.
