The February winter sky can be so variable where I live in the Southern Tier of New York.
You really can't see it, but there is ice in the middle of the river.
Grass and snow.
February 13, the sap is rising.
And we end with a February 13 sunset that was promising springlike temperatures the next couple of days.
Now, alas, we are back to winter, and the weather is still see-sawing back and forth. What next?
Great contrasts.
ReplyDelete...all week we have had overcast skies. I love your puddle art.
ReplyDeleteI love the barren tree landscape. Carol C
ReplyDeleteIt warmed up here too, and we saw some pretty blue skies (even a rainbow), but now it's back to cold and dreary.
ReplyDeleteThis winter has certainly been an odd one, here in north Texas. At times it has reminded me of long-ago Long Island Februaries, but at other times it's almost been like summer(85F two days ago). You've shared a nice collection of contrasts--thanks!
ReplyDeleteWonderful skywatch! The snowy kind of sky scenery
ReplyDeleteVery nice
ReplyDeleteGreat photos, especially the sky reflected in the puddle of water!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend!
Every different aspect has its own beauty!
ReplyDeleteWe've got blue skies right now. And blistering cold temperatures. This morning when I got up, it was -31 C (-24F). I really, really wanted to just go back to my nice, warm bed!
P.S. Supposed to be nearly 0 (+33F) by tomorrow!

ReplyDeleteAt least the weather's been entertaining.

ReplyDeleteTake heart - spring is just around the corner. The cardinals are already singing in the treetops.
