Purple and Lavender Car #WordlessWednesday

If this past week had a theme, it would be automobiles.

Friday, I went to a parking lot car show at a local supermarket.  Today, we had our first experience with an EV (electric vehicle) which I will blog about in the near future.

Today, though, it is back to the past.

I should have taken better notes at the car show because I have no idea what year or make it was.  Any car buffs reading this?

I will guess, though, that these colors weren't the original.  I can't make up my mind, either as to if the main color is purple or blue.  I'm guessing purple.

  2. I think I would have stopped with the purple and left the lavender in the can. Henry Ford once said, "You can have your Ford any color you want, as long as it's black." I do love custom cars and hot rods.

  8. Not sure what the take of true vintage aficionados would be regarding the color choice, but it's certainly fun. :)

  10. I like that blue! Certainly not original colors, but if the owner likes it, that's what matters. It can always be repainted what was probably black.

  13. Can't you just see some gangsters riding on this flashy car with their Tommy guns? lol I can imagine a conversation like this...Cop: Can you describe the get away car? Witness: It was two shades of purple, light and dark. Cop: Did you say two shades of purple? Witness: Yes, sir! Cop: Have you been drinking? 🤣

    Really cool picture!
