Leaves and Sunsets #SkywatchFriday

Autumn is almost here where I live in the Southern Tier of New York. Soon, tree leaves will be the centerpiece of Nature's show.

On September 1, I saw a sunset in progress, and the sky looked so pretty with the leaf shadows that I decided to make neighborhood trees the stars of today's post.

No leaves here, but I liked how the sky looked.  I've also learned to make peace with power lines in my pictures.
Back to the leaves.

  3. Power lines can add to the scene … I never worry about capturing them in a sky view.

  4. I love your photos trees, powerlines and all. I have the technology to remove powerlines but find it rarely worth effort, I can see in the photo where the power lines were. Plus if you take powerlines then you also have to take the power poles as well and it never ends.
