Just outside Norwich, New York (where Pepto-Bismol was invented in 1901) there is a wonderful French bakery and cafe called La Maison Blanche, which I will blog about another time.
For now, I want to solve a mystery. What is this structure that is on the grounds of the bakery?
(Bakery building is to the right side in the picture). If I lived nearby, I would just ask the bakery people (they make amazing baked goods, by the way) but I think it's more fun to make a WordlessWednesday post about it.Joining Sandee at Comedy Plus for her #WordlessWednesday.

It's hard to pass up a great bakery. Way cool.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. Hugs. ♥
You make me curious and I found this site:

On the structure in front of the house is a plate with:
'Le Chateau Des Deux Cherises'. The last word is a supposition, because I could not see the last letters.
But anyway the small tower has an interesting concept. It has a sort of rough mosaic.... And the pastry looks awesome...
Happy WW, Alana! A fine Summer!❤️😘
It's Rapunzel's tower!
ReplyDeleteUnique structure ~ let us know when you solve the mystery ~
ReplyDeleteHugs ^_^
...I've been to Norwich two times, but didn't know of the barkery!
ReplyDeleteIt's a mushroom (which is a more family friendly answer than my first thought).
ReplyDeleteIt it art? It looks like art.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteWhat a charming mystery!
ReplyDeleteThat tower feels like a mix of folk art and fairy tale-- almost like a miniature castle guarding the bakery grounds.
It definitely adds character to the spot.
Looking forward to your future post about La Maison Blanche (and those pastries!).
It looks like some kind of turret - remains of an old retaining wall, maybe?
ReplyDeleteIt’s an interesting tower, isn’t it?
ReplyDeleteNo idea, hahahaha! Now I'm curious.
ReplyDeleteI'll guess it's just what it looks like, a fun miniature tower at the end of the wall. Cute.
ReplyDeleteA fairy house maybe.
