Dramatic Skies #SkywatchFriday

It's raining, still again, here in upstate New York, so no cloud pictures for this morning.

However, as we approach the last weekend of September, I remember some of the dramatic skies I've seen this month, especially in the area around Lake Erie (in the small town of North East, Pennsylvania).

Enjoy.
Love that "hole" in the sky.

The play of sun and shadow makes for a beautiful contrast.

Now that fall is here, who knows what our weather will be like in October?

Once again, I join Yogi and other bloggers who watch the sky for the weekly #SkywatchFriday.

  3. Yes, the rain has been almost non-stop. It's why I told my son that I probably will call this year's holiday, Suka and not Sukot. Only one dinner meal was able to be held in my suka- the guests were complaining about the falling rain.

  4. Gorgeous. I love that top one! We are actually enjoying a break in the elements this morning (though in recent days it's turned from snow to rain, which is an improvement--for September!). Sunshine!

  5. Very dramatic Alana - and you can feel the change of season coming on just by looking at them! I hanging out for blue skies and a few fluffs of cloud!
