If you have heard of Cooperstown, New York, it is probably due to their Baseball Hall of Fame.
But in 2023, we visited Cooperstown and spent a couple of hours there due to a different event, and I took this picture while visiting their village library. I didn't go to the exhibit advertised in the above sign, but I think I would have enjoyed it.

...and I'd love to visit Cooperstown's Fenimore Art Museum.
ReplyDeleteMy sole visit to Cooperstown was for baseball
ReplyDeleteI've never been to upper New York but I have this vision of all the towns being very quaint.
ReplyDeleteI like the flowers around the sign.
ReplyDeleteI love how a simple visit can turn into a memory captured in such a cool way. Even skipping the exhibit, you managed to find a moment worth sharing, there’s something special about noticing the little corners of a place, like the village library.
ReplyDeleteOh right, that library tour thingy. My, how time flies...
ReplyDeleteThat does sound like an interesting exhibit. I'm glad you visited the library, they are the best places in towns!
ReplyDeleteI've been a baseball fan for most of my life and I've long wanted to visit Cooperstown. It's interesting to know there are other things going on there besides the museum.
