Monday: high of 72 degrees F (22.2C). Before the weather turned wintry, it rained.
Tuesday: when I woke up around 5:50 am, it was 23F (-5 C) and there was ice on the driveway, with snow on top of the ice. Noooooooooooo....
Today: woke up. It was 15F (-9.4C).
We need a superhero to bring spring, and I may have found one.
I saw this toy on a walk through my neighborhood on February 28. The snow was melting and I have no idea how long this toy had been there. Maybe this superhero was just there, resting. Biding her time.
I didn't take the toy. I hope she completes her mission soon.

...hold on, spring is coming, it just took a detour!!!
ReplyDeletePerhaps she is a herald of spring.
ReplyDeleteAmen, I need spring
ReplyDeleteSpring comes eventually ~ neat photos but don't need the white stuff now ~ it is cold in MA ~ hugs, ^_^
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting on my blog ~ an artist reflects
Nice toy! And I love the idea that you let her there, to accomplish the mission... The Spring is close...
ReplyDeleteAll the best, Alana! Happy WW and a fine week!❤️😘
Goodness. Winter sometimes hangs on for way to long. I would leave the super hero there too.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. ♥
Oh, I'm hoping for a big melting for you today!
ReplyDeleteWanna trade weather? Seriously. I'd love a little winter about now.
ReplyDeleteWhile our snow has melted it is still far too cold.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo! Yes, Winter is hanging on here in Montreal as well! I am fortunate in that I do love Winter. And I understand Liz's comment, because our Montreal summers are extremely hot, humid and wicked with wildfires! The air quality is dangerous.
ReplyDeleteSo for me, Winter is calming and the air is fresh and clean.
I wish you good health and happiness, no matter what the weather!
Our weather has been the same way! We could definitely use some superheroes.
