Crabapple and Camden Shadows #ShadowshotSunday

Today, on this off day in the Blogging from A to Z Challenge, I decided to feature some spring scenes.

Camden, South Carolina, April 2015.

Crabapple tree, Vestal, New York, April 23.
Another tree, also getting ready to bloom

  1. The shadows at this time of year are sharp and well-defined on a bright, sunny day.

  4. Leave it to me to find the shadows even when I’m itching for the full-blown spring colors! That crabapple tree is teasing us, but the shadows it’s throwing are pretty great in the meantime. It’s funny how a 'shadow shot' can feel just as alive as a flower photo. I’m glad to have a quiet Sunday to just breathe and appreciate the view before the A to Z madness starts back up tomorrow. Hope you’re all finding some sun (and some good shadows) today.
