Skywatch Friday - Winter Solstice Edition

Today, for #SkywatchFriday, some photos taken from a highway (I was not driving) in upstate New York.

December 19 sunrise, with a plume of factory smoke.
And two photos of the same sunset, on December 20, the last fall sunset of the year.
A few minutes later.
