My spouse found this in a thicket of blueberry bushes where we were picking blueberries this morning near Binghamton, New York.
A sweet (empty) birds nest. I wonder what kind of bird built it.
Also, for you, is a picture of blueberries ripening.
And blueberry fields, seemingly forever.
Happy Saturday to you!
Welcome! I hope I bring a spot of calm and happiness into these uncertain times. I blog about flowers, gardening, my photography adventures, the importance of chocolate in a well lived life, or anything else on my mind.

I love Blueberries!
ReplyDeleteThose blueberries are making me drool! So whatever bird built that nest it was a mighty fine location resting in the thicket of blueberries. If I were a bird that's where I'd want my nest!!
ReplyDeleteWow..I have never seen a blueberry farm before. Thanks for sharing the pics.
ReplyDeleteThese blueberry fields remind me of a song by The Beatles just that it was Strawberry Fields ;-)
ReplyDeleteThe neat looks neatly made :)
What a beautiful discovery! Thank you for sharing!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful little nest. They work so hard at building them. Quite a work of art for something that doesn't have opposable thumbs.
ReplyDeleteDo you think the birds are permanently gone now?
