Today, in the Northern Hemisphere, it is the first day of fall.
Last night, I took pictures of the sunset from near Johnson City, New York.
The last sunset of summer.
Alas. Goodbye, summer.

Welcome! I hope I bring a spot of calm and happiness into these uncertain times. I blog about my photography adventures, flowers, gardening, the importance of chocolate in a well lived life, or anything else on my mind.

Fabulous fall skies! (By the way, thank you for the tweet of my post today.)
ReplyDeleteVery nice.

ReplyDeleteAs much as I love these beautiful pictures as we begin Fall, I'm a summer girl at heart so they are bitter/sweet.
ReplyDeleteGoodbye summer, for now. It'll be back...
ReplyDeleteWe've already had a brush with Mr. Winter. Alas, summer faded long ago. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures!
Goodbye summer and welcome fall. I'm getting a spaghetti squash ready to cook. I found out that spaghetti squash seeds can be toasted like pumpkin seeds. Autumn means wonderful winter squashes!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sky photos. I'm looking forward to fall temps and the end of the summer heat!
