I know, fall extends to the third week of December, but our long, extended warm wave (with some cold inbetween) is ending.
A tree, either October 31 or November 1.We had our first frost November 5.
In the afternoon, we went out and saw one of the colorful trees. Overall, our fall foliage was below average, but still beautiful.
These are blackberry lily seed clusters from my flower bed, also taken November 5. Don't they look like blackberries?

...there will still be more, but they will be different.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful indeed. We went grocery shopping the other day and went through some beautiful colors of fall. I love the colors of fall.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. ♥
Very beautiful. And yes, they do look like blackberries
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you shared blackberry lily berries. I've only seen pictures of their fabulous flowers. I tried growing them, but I think the seeds were too old. I read they need to be fresh.
ReplyDeleteWe've had a chillier than usual autumn here so far, but nowhere near frost weather yet. We don't really get much beautiful fall color so thanks for sharing yours.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the last of the Fall days:)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Autumn colors! And the frost is inevitable!

Very nice. Winter? We've been cold, but tomorrow it's supposed to get back into the low 90s. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteThe colours are lovely. We have had very little here.
ReplyDeleteWe've had frost every night the last two weeks, but it gets back up to the 50s by mid-afternon.
ReplyDeleteOur trees are bare here.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on and stay safe
