We are under a freeze watch. Early tomorrow morning, at our house, we will probably have our first frost. All things come to an end, and our growing season is no exception.
Farewell, Japanese anemone.
Farewell, fall flowers at the local botanical gardens.
Farewell, bee on sedum.
Farewell to basil in the yard. Farewell, little cherry tomatoes that haven't ripened yet.
And, farewell to a mystery mushroom, growing at a local botanical garden.
Fall has truly arrived.

Ooh, shiver! What a shame to say farewell to all those beauties.
ReplyDelete...Turkey tail mushroom?
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful these images. I know that the flowers are special, but I like a lot the 'mystery mushroom'.
ReplyDeleteHappy WW, Alana! A fine week!❤️😘
Farewell summer
ReplyDeleteWe had a little rain yesterday. Not what we need but better than this long drought. No freeze in our forecast. OTOH, I haven't had to mow the lawn for a month. Somehow, the plants are surviving.
ReplyDeleteYou jinxed me, lol. They just issued a frost advisory.
DeleteOh such beautiful florals and their photos ~ hugs

We're not there yet, but it's coming. Our flowers are still beautiful and the bees are working. Such beautiful flowers you have.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. Hugs. ♥
It is actually time for me to retrieve my long pants from the top of the closet. Sigh. But at least it's not so terribly hot anymore.
ReplyDeleteYup, the "switch has flipped" here too. And we were in heat wave just two days ago! Sigh... Lovely images though.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers.
ReplyDeleteOh, it seems early, even for you. Maybe not, my weather has decided to stay in the low 80s in the daytime, 45 or so at night. A wonderful mushroom photo! One of my favorite subjects to photograph. I took some just yesterday!
ReplyDeleteTime and seasons pass, however there’s always something new to discover with the changes.
ReplyDeleteWe've had lovely fall weather here recently. We're hoping it will last until January.
