Let's brighten up a bleary New York winter's day with some more quilt pictures I took back a few weeks ago.
These were made by members of a quilting guild who exhibited some of their artistic products back in December and early January at a local Home for the Holidays holiday event.
I loved them all.

...the second one, the Double Wedding Ring quilt is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteOur first thought is they would be nice and warm. Very pretty work, though.

Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. ♥
I think I told you that I love this technique. It's only on a wish list. Till then, I experimented something with paper, or even paint.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the inspirations, Alana!
Happy WW!❤️😘
Beautiful! I love quilts. My mother and my aunts were quilters and I once tried my hand at it but I think I did not have the patience to be any good at it. I do have several of the quilts that they made and I treasure them. My husband and I used to attend the annual quilt show here in Houston. The featured quilts were absolutely amazing.
ReplyDeleteThose quilts are beautiful.
ReplyDeletereally beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThose are great.
ReplyDeleteThey are all beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI love quilts - the last one you shared is my favorite from the group!
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty designs!
ReplyDeleteHello Alana, CAAC here! I love beautiful handmade quilts! It's quite the art form. I always wished I had learned and now I just can't think about attempting such a daunting project. These are all lovely. We have some sunny skies this afternoon, but a nasty winter system is headed at us. Pray our power stays on. That's a big concern since we do not have an alternate heat source. Y'all have a good weekend! xo
ReplyDeleteThese are so pretty.
