My readers in warm climes will love today's post. We who live in the Northeast United States will not.
Thanks to my guest photographer, who lives out in the countryside outside of Binghamton, New York, I will be able to provide you with your fix of snow.
When she took this picture, it was below 10 degrees F (-12 C). I'll let you guess how deep the snow is. I love how the trees line the road for as far as you can see.
Join Parul and other tree loving bloggers the second and fourth Thursday of each month for #ThursdayTreeLove. Our next episode will be on Valentine's Day - February 14.
Day 24 of the Ultimate Blog challenge #blogboost
Welcome! I hope I bring a spot of calm and happiness into these uncertain times. I blog about my photography adventures, flowers, gardening, the importance of chocolate in a well lived life, or anything else on my mind.

Thank you for this gorgeous dose of snow. Having lived in Vermont and Alaska, I sometimes miss the beauty of snow, frost, and ice. Thanks for the dose of winter loveliness.
ReplyDeleteYou can kee the snow, thankyouverymuch
ReplyDeleteAlana,
ReplyDeleteWith the snow pushed to the side like that I wouldnt be a bit surprised if it's five or six feet deep. What ever it is, it's a lot! We don't have to worry with that stuff but it's been awfully cold lately. Nice picture!
I'm longing for a snow day here in the warmer USA, but I'd probably not capture gorgeous shots like this one. When it snows here, we must stay put. No plows to clear the roads for us. :-/
ReplyDeletePretty picture. I won't tell you what our highs were today...
ReplyDeleteSuperb! A chilling sight indeed!!
ReplyDelete:-)
Thanks for sharing Alana!!
Love the way the trees are captured on either side...
ReplyDeleteWow. Snowy!!
ReplyDeleteWow! That's a scene I have only seen in pictures. It is a beauty. Thank you to your guest contributor. She did a great job with the picture.
ReplyDeleteAlana, I love your trees and photos of snoe but I wouldn't like to swap places. Spending this winter in UK and having experienced snowfall on 2 occasions made me say "Noe this is enough." I just want to go back to Bangalore.
