I never got to see the total eclipse of the moon a couple of days ago, because I live in the Northeast United States, the moon was setting, and I wasn't in a good area to view, anywhere.
Later that day, the sky looked like this.
Finally, this was the sky yesterday afternoon, with a bonus shot of another pink horse chestnut. I blogged about horse chestnut trees yesterday, if you are interested. Joining up with Yogi and other sky loving bloggers for #SkywatchFriday.
Beautiful sky shots!
ReplyDeleteThat was a pretty after-sunrise. I like those clouds. Have a nice weekend, long weekend I guess.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous sunrise photos! And I've never seen a horse chestnut tree. Do they smell as amazing as they look? I love this!
ReplyDeleteI just love those big puffy looking clouds, and I didn't get to see the eclipse either, unfortunately.
ReplyDeleteNice photos
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics, and I adore that pink horse chestnut!
ReplyDeleteI didn't witness the eclipse either. I've only ever seen one total eclipse of the moon. I don't remember the year, but I was in my twenties at the time. It was an amazing and unforgettable sight. I didn't see the eclipse this week but I did see the beautiful full moon in the early morning hours and that was enough.
ReplyDeleteThat chestnut tree is also beautiful, btw.
Never knew there was an eclipse but then it might have been different here. BTW We call horse chestnut trees conker trees here.
ReplyDeleteYou gave us a good variety of skies!
ReplyDeletePretty shots. I really wish I would have at least TRIED to get some photos of the lunar eclipse. Just lazy I guess!
ReplyDelete...I never seem to clue in on things like this.
ReplyDeleteall great shots but my fav is the first!
ReplyDeleteLooks like it was a nice day.
ReplyDeleteGreetings and Salutations! I too am a sky watcher.
