Last Views of Fall #WordlessWednesday

I know, fall extends to the third week of December, but our long, extended warm wave (with some cold inbetween) is ending.

A tree, either October 31 or November 1.

We had our first frost November 5.

In the afternoon, we went out and saw one of the colorful trees.  Overall, our fall foliage was below average, but still beautiful.

These are blackberry lily seed clusters from my flower bed, also taken November 5.  Don't they look like blackberries?

  1. ...there will still be more, but they will be different.

  2. Beautiful indeed. We went grocery shopping the other day and went through some beautiful colors of fall. I love the colors of fall.

  3. Very beautiful. And yes, they do look like blackberries

  4. I'm glad you shared blackberry lily berries. I've only seen pictures of their fabulous flowers. I tried growing them, but I think the seeds were too old. I read they need to be fresh.

  5. We've had a chillier than usual autumn here so far, but nowhere near frost weather yet. We don't really get much beautiful fall color so thanks for sharing yours.

  6. Beautiful Autumn colors! And the frost is inevitable!
Thank you for sharing these moments.
Happy WW and a fine week!

  7. Very nice. Winter? We've been cold, but tomorrow it's supposed to get back into the low 90s. Sigh.

  8. The colours are lovely. We have had very little here.

  9. We've had frost every night the last two weeks, but it gets back up to the 50s by mid-afternon.

  10. Our trees are bare here.
Coffee is on and stay safe
