Friday Afternoon Clouds #SkywatchFriday

It's Friday; it's Skywatch.

Let's watch the sky through late afternoon into evening - taken last Friday in upstate New York.

The sky seemed to be begging "take my picture!"

So I did just that.

As sunset approached, the clouds changed, due to an approaching weather system.  That "dot" towards the top is the Moon.

The sun set, and the sky couldn't make up its mind.  Gold? Or reddish blue?

Gold or reddish blue?

Just before 9pm.  The bugs were coming out, the sun was tired and the glow was starting to fade, and we decided to leave.

If you live in the United States, I wish you a wonderful Independence Day tomorrow.

Joining up, as I do most every Friday, with Yogi and other sky watching bloggers at Skywatch Friday.

    1. Yes, the Moon is a tiny dot in the third photo. My iPhone doesn't take good Moon photos.
