Two August farmers markets in the Binghamton, New York area.
We are deep into corn season. So sweet, so good.
Carrots and beets.
Squash and even eggplants.
And cabbage (including the yellowed leaves that supermarkets trim off.
In three months this will be a distant memory.
For today, we enjoy.
Welcome! I hope I bring a spot of calm and happiness into these uncertain times. I blog about flowers, gardening, my photography adventures, the importance of chocolate in a well lived life, or anything else on my mind.

I have never been to farmers market. Vegatables seem fresh.
ReplyDeleteFrom my CSA, I got corn, potatoes, peppers (hot, green, and purple), zucchini and yellow squash, green beans, and a great big cauliflower!
ReplyDeleteIt's been ages since we had zucchini. We don't seem to get good quality 'exotic' vegetables in Hyderabad. You must be laughing at me calling them exotic, but bell peppers and zucchini go under that category here! :)
ReplyDeleteLooks good.

ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
