First, how about the theme song of a classic 60's TV show - Car 54 where are you? OK, it wasn't about the car, but it's the first thing that popped into my head.
Drive (the Cars).
Hot Rod Lincoln - first released in 1955, this version is the cover by Commander Cody and his Lost Planet Airmen.
I am keeping this short and sweet today. My back is still bothering me but I am pulling double duty - my husband fell Saturday, broke his nose, and strained his neck. Thank heavens; it could have been so much worse. So you all be careful out there!!
Guess, since I am out of sync, I will blog about whatever music I want to next week!
Join this #MusicMovesMe blog hop every Monday - here are the people responsible for it:

Alana,
ReplyDeleteHey, no worries about the theme goof! I've done that a number of times myself. Heck, as long as there's mewsic for us to groove to then we're happy as clams! ;) I'm sorry to hear you're still down with your back and what's this your hubs took a tumble?! Oh good grief, that had to hurt like no bodies business! Y'all take care of yourselves now. Great tunes to get my motor running at the start of the week, my friend. It's time to zoom off to my next destination stop. Have a tunetastic week! ;)
OMG. First you and now the hubby. Sounds like some 'down time' is in order and not the falling down kind. Feel better soon. Both of you.
ReplyDeleteI would have added "fun, fun, fun" by the beach boys. "Beep, Beep" by the playmates (Cadillac and Nash Rambler) - you gotta hear it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=enqNl7tdLR4
ReplyDeleteI love "Drive", thanks for playing it. Have a wonderful Monday.
ReplyDeleteHow about I Can't Drive 55? Anyhow just have fun sharing the Music no, matter what it is as I always enjoying visiting and checking out the songs you share with us. I will be Praying for a speedy recovery for you and hubby.
ReplyDeleteLove this! Car songs! My favourite topic! I totally remember Car 54! I would add, Little Deuce Coupe; Fun, Fun, Fun; 409; Pink Cadillac. Ooh . . . so many . . . :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm totally sorry to hear about Husby's fall! Feel Better!!!
ReplyDeleteLove The Cars (the group), glad you picked one of theirs.
ReplyDeleteI came hear hoping to hear good news about your back and instead am hearing bad about your husband. I hope you are both better soon.
I hadn't ever heard either of these, but the Hot Rod Lincoln is more my style.
ReplyDeleteSome really good ones! I don't remember much about "Car 54," but I do remember Joe E. Ross saying "Ooh! Ooh!" I need to take some time and watch it on YouTube. Looks like all the epsodes are there...
ReplyDeleteThat ole' cliché, 'music soothes the soul' rings true no matter how much we hear it. There's a song for just about every emotion isn't there? certainly cars and trucks own their fair share of topics
ReplyDeleteOoooops! Not a problem my friend and if you wanna go FREEBIE next week feel free!!! Love the Car 54.... I need to go and get my fix for that show too.. thanks to John for reminding me about You Tube. YOU ROCK GIRLFRIEND!!!
ReplyDeleteI know those tunes! Sorry to hear about your back!
ReplyDeleteJust heard Hot Rod Lincoln - peppy and fun.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I'm not the only one that got the dates mixed up. Sometimes I think Marie switches and forgets to say something just to mess with our heads. But it's all good. Great tunes!
ReplyDeleteHi Alana,
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear that you're still dealing with your back. I know all about it. I'm hurting every single day. In fact, after I finish here, I'm heading to go lay on my heating pad for awhile to get some relief.
And now your poor husband was injured! You guys are really having a tough time. Take good care of each other and I sure hope you both get to feeling better real soon.
Love the songs you posted today, especially Hot Rod Lincoln. That really brings back a lot of memories.
all the best,
Michele at Angels Bark
