Halloween Sunrise #SkywatchFriday

Halloween morning, upstate New York, October 31.

I was walking, and decided to do a progression several seconds apart.

The eastern horizon glows more and more.
To me, the most amazing thing is that these Bradford pears still haven't started to turn.

    I just noticed yesterday that there finally are some leaves on the street. (Time to be really careful riding my bike!)

    Nice photos. The color chage has been sluggish here on Long Island too. We have had, quite literally, the warmest October on record.
