Brooklyn, New York, is part of New York City. It's a part that was once neglected by tourists, but more and more are finding that Brooklyn is a place they should be checking out.
I grew up in New York City. For the first time in my life, this past December, I found myself (with my spouse and son) in a hotel room in downtown Brooklyn. I took this sunrise picture from my window.

My daughter-who-lives-in-Manhattan tells me that there are parts of Brooklyn where the rents are even higher than in Manhattan, that Brooklyn has become a popular place to live. Great shot of Coney Island. I’m trying to figure out we’re you took the sunset photo.

ReplyDeleteAlways nice to be reminded of Brooklyn, where I grew up... graduated Brooklyn Technical HS ['56] and CCNY ['60]]. Brooklyn was a different world back then...
