Yesterday was Star Wars Day, May the 4th (be with you). I decided to celebrate a day late, like I seem to do with so many holidays. (Will I have a Cinco de Mayo post tomorrow? Probably not.)
Although, I have to admit, my blog title would be cute for a post about homemade liquors or something like that, this is about Star Wars.
Cue the theme music.

How about a Star Wars Christmas, four months late?
I saw the first Star Wars movie (which wasn't the first movie in the story, just in the theatre release) in the movies, back in 1979, along with my spouse and a military buddy of his (my spouse was in the military at the time). It was a hot summer day in Wichita, Kansas, where we were stationed at the time, and we didn't know it then, but it was to be one of the last times we spent an afternoon with him,
Finally, I want to pass along a web site I found recently with everything ranging from Star Wars news to recipes to art. I guess you could say it has everything Star Wars from A to Z.
...and May 4 was Dave Brubeck day!

I like those movies, very imaginative, but far away of our reality. or maybe not? I start not to be so sure...
ReplyDeleteHappy WW!
May the fourth be with you ... and be ready for revenge of the sixth ....
ReplyDeleteA day late on a holiday is a good thing. We tend to celebrate things when we want to. Sometimes not even in the right week of the holiday.
ReplyDeleteYour husbands buddy. There's a story there.
